Hydra-Dermabrasion Facials
Our skincare facials use a hydradermabrasion machine that incorporate different skincare tools for deep cleansing, exfoliation, tightening, lifting and infusing depending on your skin concerns. We tend to use either 3, 4 or 5 of the different handle’s depending on the facial you choose. Alternatively we can tailor make the facial to your specific concerns.

The different skincare tools we incorporate are..

Hydra-microdermabrasion handle - This uses a vacuum suction mechanism to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and polish the skins surface. Vacuum suction is also an electrical lymphatic drainage treatment, the lymphatic vessels are stimulated helping to detoxify, improve lymph circulation, reduce puffiness, reduce fluid retention, increase blood flow, aid cellular regeneration as well as encouraging toning and lifting in the skin.
The ultrasonic skin scrubber - is a metal device used to deeply unclog pores and cleanse the skin, leading to what many believe to be the purest possible complexion. It uses vibrational therapy to massage the cells and deeply infuse products, as well as offering deep exfoliation and blackhead/whitehead extraction.
Ultrasound therapy handle - uses ultrasound waves to massage cells. It penetrates deep below the surface of the skin. This promotes cellular renewal and repairs and tones facial muscles, increases blood circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage, combats puffiness and swelling and improves skin care product penetration. Thanks to the positive effect on the connective tissues’ fibres, the skin becomes tighter and youthfully elastic. The heat generated during an ultrasound treatment relaxes the muscles. It also increases blood flow, nutrients and oxygen supply to the cells.
Radio frequency handle - The RF therapy handle uses safe levels of low-frequency electromagnetic waves to generate heat. This heat penetrates deep into your skins layers. There, it stimulates new skin cell production. The treatment also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. These proteins give skin cells more strength and flexibility. As a result, sagging skin feels firmer, tightened, lifted. Research has found that RF therapy is effective at treating mild or moderate signs of aging.
Cold Hammer Handle - Most of the above handles are used to stimulate, so lastly it’s good to finish with the cold hammer handle. This cools the skin down and soothes redness post treatment reducing sensitivity. The cold hammer also helps to shrink + refine the pores and lock in moisture. The cold hammer is also great to calm the skin after aesthetics treatments such as dermaplaning and microneedling.
Finally we have the hydrogen rejuvenation handle. Hydrogen is a molecule that acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Hydrogen rapidly penetrates all layers of the skin and by turning off inflammation, the skin is able to hydrate much more rapidly than with topical hydrating products alone.
